See your Europe trip cost country by country

Every country your route crosses is priced with its own fuel price, vignette and motorway toll.

STEP 1

Route and vehicle

For a tour or a multi-city trip, add the places you will call at, in order. Up to 10 stops.

Favourite routes

Saved with its stops. This device only.

Route preference

The fastest route is sometimes far longer: Xanthi to Kassandra is 301 km round the motorway through Thessaloniki against 239 across Halkidiki. "Shortest" optimises for distance and may take longer.

Bosphorus crossing

Only affects routes that cross the Istanbul strait. The fastest option may use the Eurasia Tunnel (330 TL); the bridge (59 TL) is far cheaper for nearly the same time.

Aegean crossing

Affects routes from the Greek mainland to an east Aegean island. The fastest option dips into Turkey for a short crossing (Çeşme–Chios, Ayvalık–Mytilene); the mainland option takes the north-east Aegean ferry line out of Kavala and never leaves Greece (longer and seasonal).

Fuel type
Saved vehicles

Fuel type, consumption and toll class are kept together. This device only.

Choose an origin first; the price is entered in that country’s currency.

Vehicle class

Bridge and tunnel fares follow the class you pick, as do the tolls of any country whose class columns we have verified — and a country that waives your class shows nothing. Where the columns are not verified the car tariff applies and the line is marked "class 1". Lorry and coach classes (3–5) are not offered because we do not have their published fares.

Some crossings are cheaper at night: the Eurasia Tunnel is half price between 00:00 and 05:00, the Eskihisar ferry is discounted between 22:00 and 10:00. The toll is paid at the hour you reach the crossing, not the hour you set off, and the date settles whether summer time applies. Left empty, the day rate applies.
