About this route
This page doubles as a demonstration of what the site will not pretend to know. In the measurement France is the dearest crossing on the whole drive — higher than Serbia, Croatia or Austria individually. That figure does not come from a published tariff: France prices its motorways as a closed system, by the booth entered and the booth left, and we do not hold those tables. What we do instead is count the kilometres the router marked as tolled and multiply by a rate we assume. The distance is measured, the price is an assumption — and saying so is more use than hiding it, because the real amount will differ.
What this figure leaves out
Accommodation, food, waiting at borders, tyres and wear, green card insurance, parking. Only fuel and the charges on the road itself are counted.
